1. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age and a resident of Kentucky to create an account. By creating an account you represent and warrant that both statements are true. Accounts found to violate these requirements will be terminated.

2. The platform

homegrown is an education and transparency platform for Kentucky's medical cannabis program under KRS Chapter 218B. homegrown does not sell, ship, prescribe, dispense, or distribute cannabis, cannabis products, or cannabis paraphernalia.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
One account per person. Sharing accounts is prohibited.
Patient verification submissions must be truthful; falsification is grounds for termination and may be reported to authorities.

4. Acceptable use

No solicitation of sales, diversion, or transactions outside licensed Kentucky dispensaries.
No medical advice. Content is educational; consult a Kentucky-authorized practitioner.
No harassment, hate speech, doxxing, scraping, or automated abuse of the platform.
No content that infringes intellectual property or violates law.

5. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant homegrown a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it on the platform for the purpose of operating and improving homegrown. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Verification & badges

Identity, role, and patient badges are conditional on continued eligibility. We may revoke them at any time if eligibility lapses or fraud is suspected.

7. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Information about cultivators, dispensaries, releases, and products is gathered from public and partner sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always verify with the licensed operator before relying on any listing.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, homegrown is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of use of the platform. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

9. Termination

You may stop using homegrown at any time and request deletion at privacy@homegrownky.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Fayette County, Kentucky.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
